Limo Driver Scores Big with Custom Banners
A long day of traveling is never fun. Even the most patient people tend to lose their tempers in the airport. As a limo driver in New York City, I've heard thousands of horror stories about people being downright ugly to each other in the airport. When I was younger, I couldn't help but laugh at peoples' impatience. I learned quickly, however, that if my business was going to survive, I would have to refrain from patronizing my clients.
After dealing with one too many angry customers, I started paying attention to strangers' faces to see if I could figure out what kinds of emotions people felt while at the airport. Most of the faces I saw showed a mixture between indifference and annoyance, but every now and again I'd see someone who was happy and euphoric. The happy faces usually belonged to people who were reuniting with others from whom they had been seperated for a long time. To build my business, I began to greet my clients at the airport as if I were greeting old friends. I welcomed my clients to New York with newspapers, toys and warm snacks. I can now say that due to my research, my business is now the most profitable limo service in the entire country. All of my success can be attributed to my research, so keep reading to learn three great ways to greet your lover at the airport.
TRADITIONAL GIRLS LOVE CANDY, FLOWERS AND A CARD
Some people may scoff at the idea of going the traditional route, but in all my years of research, I never once saw a young woman disappointed that her boyfriend brought her a dozen roses, a box of chocolates and a greeting card. Most of the time the weary traveler was excited to have received anything at all. It's okay to lack creativity because, at the end of the day, it's the thought that counts. Another great thing about the traditional gift is that it's relatively inexpensive and all it requires in the way of shopping is a quick stop by your local grocery or drug store.
COME ON! GET THAT GIRL SOME BALLOONS!
For those who are a bit more outlandish and like to get attention, a great way to make a statement with your airport greeting is to buy a big bunch of multi-colored balloons. If you go the balloon route, then you must also personalize your balloons with catchy sayings. Personalization makes your greeting that much more special. Don't be shy, buy some balloons!
CUSTOM BANNERS ARE THE ULTIMATE WAY TO GREET THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE
My personal favorite method of airport greeting is with a banner sign. Custom banners require a bit more preparation on your part, but as long as you go to your local print banner maker and explain to him what you want, he will easily be able to craft you a high quality print banner in a very short amount of time. The best part about a vinyl banner is that it can be personalized, so you can include any message you want on your custom banner. Also, unlike flowers or balloons, a custom banner is easy to take care of and can last forever. I designed a for my son when he came home after spending a year in Europe, and that custom banner is still hanging in his room to this day!
I hope you will try one of my recommendations the next time you visit an airport. Remember, balloons and flowers are great, but make the biggest statement of all!
